Your perception may not be the reality; Change your perception and you will change your reality.

/pərˈsepSH(ə)n/

It is quite funny because even what I write now can be perceived in many ways. Many ways every time you read it. Keeping this statement on top, a person's perception is simply their experiences which swings around their expectations. Now experiences can be what they may have felt with their five senses. Even an emotional trauma needs a spark from your senses.

No one plans or picks a ride, they choose a destination underestimating the path and they end up getting themselves in some experiences which as they say it "getting thrown into life ".
This is where your expectations come into play; like an unstoppable force hitting an immovable object. Imagine on a regular day you are getting robbed leaving things collapsing for you. Imagine being a victim of some physical violence from a person in your tribe. Expectations get messed up now.
Your view towards life gets upside down. Some haunt you, no most of them haunt you. You shape up your perception here, now what you have been through has stayed in some chambers inside your mind like a flashing memory. Every decision you make will be based on the reminiscence or might even be your past endured torments. We just cannot deny the fact that there are some people who, no matter what they have been through would have a sensible view towards everything around them. But most of us, we fall into the deep realm of expectations & tribal norms and that hostile environment is where we end up laying foundation to not what we see, but how we see.

Remember every single thought you make will have a defensive layer which your sub-conscious mind help built, learning from the experiences you have been through.
As they say it, you grow through what you go through.

some disappointment
some petrified

some pride
some remorse
some anger

some civil
some happy
some sad

why search different filters when you yourself are one.
